Outdoor learning

Kent Country Parks offer outdoor learning and school visits, for all ages and abilities. These parks provide stimulating locations for your class to learn first-hand about the environment.

 

Our experienced education rangers can deliver courses to enhance curriculum learning. They can also work with you to develop a specific study programme.

How much does it cost?

The prices include the use of equipment, resources and usually indoor space for lunch.

Before the course

Teachers who are booking on to one of our courses should carry out a pre-visit and perform a risk assessment.

Facilities

Brockhill Country Park, Hythe

Indoor and outdoor classroom, forest school area and mixture of woodland, grassland and wetland habitats.

Lullingstone Country Park, nr Eynsford

Woodland, chalk grassland and the River Darent.

Shorne Woods Country Park, Gravesend

Over 280 acres of woodland, grassland and freshwater

Fully equipped classroom that provides shelter from wet weather, allowing visits to take place all year round.
