HEADTEACHER BRIEFINGS

Thank you to the many of you at attended this week’s two Headteacher Briefing events at Ashford and Maidstone- it was the highest attendance we have had so far.

You had asked for the briefings to address the issue of behaviour and I was delighted that so many school colleagues have volunteered to share their practice through case studies.

Next week's briefings are on Monday morning at The Inn on the Lake and Friday morning at the Darwin Conference Centre, University of Kent. All the PP presentations will be disseminated following the meetings.

SECONDARY OFFER DAY 1^st MARCH

A big well done to the Admission Team for successfully processing and allocating 22,479 secondary school applications for a September 2025 start. 96% of pupils will receive an offer from one of their four preferred schools, the highest proportion of the cohort in the last five years.  A second round of offers will be made on Thursday 25^th April for any spaces that become available.
