Alumina - Self Harm Support Facilitator Training
This course is ideal for those working in schools in a PHSE capacity, pastorally, inclusion managers, school counsellors and those in the youth service.
We still have a few places remaining on Januarys Alumina course, which is a face-to-face course being delivered in Margate. The course is free to attend as it is fully funded by Medway Public Health.
- 6th January 2025 09:30 - 16:30
- 7th January 2025 09:30 - 16:30
Delegates must be able to attend both days of training.
This two-day course will provide you with the skills, knowledge, resources, and confidence to deliver Alumina sessions in your setting for young people with self–harming behaviour. The second day particularly focuses on how to support children with Autistic Spectrum Condition and those who are Looked After Children and Young People. Alumina is a ground-breaking support programme for young people aged 14-19 years who are struggling with self-harming behaviour.
Kindly use the link provided to check for information about future availability.
