Government Response to the First Joint Report of the Business, Innovation and Skills and Education Committees of Session 2016-17

In June 2016, Business, Innovation and Skills and Education Committees published and submitted their first joint report to government.
The sub-committee set out five key areas the due-to-be-published Careers Strategy should concentrate.
The Government has now responded to the Committee’s report, where many of the recommendations are welcomed and acknowledged. The Government also acknowledges the ‘excellent’ work of the Careers and Enterprise Company.
