John Downton art awards now open

The annual John Downton Awards for Young Artists encourages and celebrates the diverse talent of a new generation of Kent’s young artists.

We are pleased once again to be hosting this prestigious event in the autumn and are delighted to announce that the call is now open for work to be submitted for the exhibition which will be held in County Hall, Maidstone from Monday 23 October - Monday 4 December 2017 with two Awards presentation evenings on Thursday 9 November 2017. The winning entries will then travel to Turner Contemporary, Margate in December.

The deadline for receipt of applications is noon on 15 September 2017.
