Kent Youth County Council Elections – It’s time to vote!

Voting is now open to help decide this year’s Kent Youth County Council Members and choose the top 3 issues which will become the youth council’s campaigns for 2025.

Voting is now open at www.kent.gov.uk/kyccelections to help decide this year’s Kent Youth County Council Members and choose the top 3 issues which will become the youth council’s campaigns for 2025. All young people aged 11 – 18 years who live or go to school/college in Kent are eligible to vote.

Over 150 young people have put themselves forward for election to represent their local district or the community they belong to. The candidates have each written a short statement on why young people should vote for them and the issues they would like to campaign on, these can all be found at Kent Youth County Council (KYCC) elections - Kent County Council

Thank you to all the schools across the county who have already signed up to run the elections and are supporting the candidates in the election process. Please support and encourage the students within your school to vote between now and Sunday 24th November.

If you haven’t already signed up your school, students can still vote online. Results from the elections will be announced on the KYCC website on Thursday 5th December
