3 February 2016

Key stage KS1 and KS2 exemplification material to support teacher assessment (TA) of each pupil at the end of KS1 AND KS2 in 2016.

KS1 and KS2 exemplification material to support teacher assessment (TA) of each pupil at the end of KS1 AND KS2 in 2016 are now available. This guidance should be used with the 2016 interim TA frameworks.

  • 2016 teacher assessment exemplification KS1 mathematics
  • 2016 teacher assessment exemplification KS2 mathematics

They should be used by:

  • teachers to make accurate and robust TA judgements
  • local authorities when training schools and moderators

The exemplification shows examples of pupils’ work at the standards detailed in the interim TA frameworks. The interim TA frameworks are for 2015 to 2016 only. The Department for Education is evaluating options for future years.
