30 Hours of Free Childcare provider survey

You will be aware that 30 Hours of Free Childcare becomes an entitlement for eligible working parents with effect from September 2017. In order for this to be delivered in Kent, there is some basic information KCC needs to collect to inform conversations with you and effectively plan for this very challenging agenda.

This information includes:

  • The number of three and four year olds attending your provision for more than 15 hours who may be eligible for 30 Hours of Free Childcare
  • The number of three and four year olds attending your provision for 15 hours only but who may be eligible for 30 Hours of Free Childcare
  • Any different or additional workforce development needs you might have, including providing for children with additional needs

We are mindful that we do approach you periodically for a wide range of information but if you could please find time to complete this simple Audit Questionnaire which we anticipate should take you no longer than 15 minutes, by the response date we would be very grateful.

We appreciate the level of Government Funding has still to be confirmed but would ask that you complete the survey to give us an idea of your ability/willingness to provide the additional hours. Please note that this survey also requires information on your setting’s vacancy levels and replaces the termly audit. We would ask if this could be completed by the 16 December 2016. Please accept our apologies for the very short turn-a-round.

The first ten providers who complete the survey will be entered into a draw and will receive 10% off Threads of Success services, training or products (excluding courses booked via CPDOnline) plus a chance to win a free, award winning EFICL pack (Enhancing Family Involvement in Children’s Learning). The remaining providers who return the survey will receive 5% off Threads of Success services, training or products (excluding courses booked via CPDOnline).
