Nominations now open for annual awards celebrating the vital contribution of school staff to the community.

Categories include Primary School, Secondary School, Newly Qualified Teacher, Non-Teaching Member of Staff, and Volunteer.
Simon Dolby, chief executive of the KM Charity Team, said: “The Kent Teacher of the Year Awards shine a spotlight on schools with enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are making a real difference to children’s educational development and prospects."
He added: “If you know of an extraordinary person or team helping to make your school the best it can be why not submit a nomination and share their story with the county?”
A panel of judges will select district and overall winners for each category and more than 50 individuals will be recognised at a prestigious awards dinner on May 19 at Leeds Castle. There will be top prizes on offer in addition to a limited edition trophy for every overall winner.
