Bedgebury Foundation Grants for Schools

The Trustees of Bedgebury Foundation would like to draw your attention to awards it intends to make to some schools Kent.

Inspiring Young Minds (application form prefix IYM)

Each award will be for up to £2,000. Projects should improve the support to children and young people with non-written communication difficulties, for example, with Speech, Language, Hearing Impairment or Social communication. Assessment tools or small group interventions will be prioritised over nurture room equipment. The programme may close early if oversubscribed.

Specific Training for School Staff (Application form prefix T&T)

Grants will be provided to fund or part fund long courses, for example, a Level 5 or Masters course or to fund short courses, for example, CPD. Courses should be for named child facing staff and should improve the support to children young people with SpLD, Trauma or Mental Health difficulties, SaLT or other additional needs.

To be considered for an award in either programme a senior staff member should complete the online application accessible from our grant application portal, they will need to register an account and then select the appropriate application form. It is possible for a school to apply for both programmes. There is plenty of guidance as you complete the form.

If you would like more information, take a look at the Bedgebury Foundation website and then hit the Apply Now button.

Applications may be submitted now and the closing date is Monday 17 April 2023. IYM may close earlier once we reach a level of eligible applications that are affordable. Awards will be made in early July 2023
