Can your pupils save Sugar Smart World?

1 February 2019

New resources and recipe ideas to inspire healthier habits.

Can your pupils save Sugar Smart World from the pesky Sugar Cube Invaders?

Our new English and maths lesson plans will help your pupils learn how to make healthier swaps by using their literacy and maths skills to stop the Sugar Cube Invaders taking over Sugar Smart World!

Recipe ideas are also available so pupils can try delicious, healthier foods from around the world in the classroom, or with their families at home.

Send home the Sugar Smart World take-home packs

Send pupils home with the new Sugar Smart World activity packs (arriving in schools this month) and help them continue learning about healthier swaps with their families. Most state Primary schools across England will receive packs via courier from 14 to 31 January. Additional packs can be ordered from February onwards from the School Zone. You’ll be able to order more from the School Zone from Friday 1 February.

"What’s great about these resources is that pupils will learn how to apply the principles of nutrition and healthy eating through core curriculum subjects. The step-by-step recipe ideas are a fun and easy way to introduce pupils to healthier food options and instil a love of cooking."
Louise Davies, National Leader in Food Education, Founder: Food Teachers Centre
