Change4Life - Get ready for a healthy September

In the autumn term, Change4Life are launching a new toolkit of cross-curricular resources to help schools cover healthy eating and physical activity in fun, easy and creative ways.

The resources will help Reception and Year 6 pupils to build eating well and moving more into their daily school routine and will be available for schools in September to support the National Child Measurement Programme.

Reception and Year 6 Toolkit

The new resources will focus on the youngest and oldest children in the school - Reception and Year 6. They aim to help equip pupils with healthy habits that will last a lifetime, setting them up for the next exciting stage of their lives as they either start Primary school or prepare for Secondary school.

Research from Public Health England shows it is a key time when parents and pupils are thinking about health as children are weighed and measured as part of the National Child Measurement Programme and actively looking for support and tips.

Benefits for your school
