Construction Site Child Safety - Bee Safe

A security company in Barnsley has launched materials in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive, aimed at reducing the risk of Primary school aged children from accessing building sites.

The materials was not developed by the company in isolation. They involved their Local Education Authority and a focus group of construction companies to help produce something that they hope will have a positive effect.

As mentioned, it is aimed definitely at the Primary school age group and the material includes the short video clip above (about one minute ), some notes for teachers (DOC, 75.0 KB) and a picture for colouring in (PDF, 151.2 KB).

Kent as a Local Education Authority supports the message to encourage children to steer clear of construction sites.
