CPD funding available for all schools interested in Global Learning

Schools can register for free with the GLP and complete a simple questionnaire about global learning in their school, in order to claim £500 worth of CPD.
The Global Learning Programme (GLP) is a government funded programme of support that enables teachers in Primary, Secondary and Special schools to deliver effective teaching and learning about development and global issues at Key Stages 2 and 3. The programme provides resources, access to teacher networks and staff CPD.
Schools can register for free with the GLP and complete a simple questionnaire about global learning in their school, in order claim up to £500 worth of e-Credits that can be redeemed with one of over 50 CPD providers, including Unicef, Oxfam and Amnesty UK. The training offered is varied and includes:
- Philosophy for Children (P4C)
- SMSC development
- Global Teacher Award
- Pupil voice
- ‘British values’
- KS2/3 transition
