Teaching Assistant event

Do you know somebody who can be a Teaching Assistant? Please share this information within your networks.

Working with children can be a very rewarding experience.

The key qualities that you need to be a teaching assistant are the ability to relate well with children, being responsive to their needs, work well in a team and be willing to learn.

Multiply Kent are running an introductory morning session in central Ashford. This will be focused on primary school teaching assistant opportunities. You will hear from a senior teacher about the role and from current teaching assistants working both within mainstream and the Special Educational Needs sector.

You will also be getting a hands-on taste of lesson as it is taught in a classroom.

The event takes place on Tuesday 6 December in Ashford. The session will start from 9:30am with teas and coffee and will be finished by 12:30pm. Please find an event outline (PDF, 502.5 KB).
