Draft 'Strategy for the future of Education in Kent 2025 to 2030: Raising ambition. Enabling curiosity. Building resilience’ consultation
24 October 2024
Our consultation on the draft ‘strategy for the future of Education in Kent 2025 to 2030: Raising ambition. Enabling curiosity. Building resilience’ is now open.
We’ve developed this draft strategy by listening to families, carers, children and young people, schools and providers, education professionals, and partners - many of you will have contributed and discussed both the issues and solutions in the various focus groups that have taken place. We would now like to hear everyone’s feedback.
The strategy aims to respond to the needs of children and young people, their parents and carers, and those in the education profession, while delivering our statutory duties. The strategy is built on partnership working to deliver an excellent education for our children and young people; strong, effective schools; and system-wide cohesion.
Please tell us your views by completing the questionnaire. On our website you will find:
- The full draft strategy
- A short summary version of the draft strategy
- A ‘strategy on a page’
- An easy read version of the draft strategy and questionnaire

The consultation is now open and runs until Wednesday 11 December 2024. Please share the draft strategy and consultation, and participate and share your views.
