EIS and Kent Sport Training Offer

EIS and Kent Sport are partnering together to hold a SIMS Training course to support the PE and Sports Premium Funding.

Monday 26 June marks the start of National School Sport Week (NSSW) a huge celebration of all things great about PE and school sports.

National School Sport Week started back in 2008 and saw over 5,000 schools and 1.8 million pupils took part whether this through traditional sports such as football, hockey or netball, or more alternative activities like parkour, dance or dodgeball there is something out there for everyone to enjoy and get involved in.

We all know that sport is great for our physical health but there many more benefits that reach beyond physical wellbeing.

With many events taking place, such as the Kent School Games, National School Sport Week is the perfect opportunity to showcase and evidence how your school is using your Primary School Sports Premium and the positive impact it’s having on your pupils.

EIS and KentSport are delighted to have joined together to develop a new SIMS Training course to support the full tracking and analysis of Primary school use of PE and Sports Premium Funding.

The skills you will learn on this course can be transferred and track and monitor other key areas such as SEN Provision, Pupil Premium Funding and initiatives to improve academic attainment, behaviour and attendance.

In addition, the half day training course can be paid for using the Sports Premium Funding, to find out more and book your place on of our dates please visit CPD Online:
