Free school workshops from Dogs Trust

Dogs Trust offers free workshops and assemblies to schools across Kent.

Dogs Trust's Education and Community Officer, Jo, delivers free workshops and assemblies to schools across Kent. Responsible dog ownership and/or staying safe around dogs is the underpinning purpose of all the workshops, but they also offer a range of topics and subjects that encompass these as well as meet curriculum links.

Teachers can request a 2019 catalogue which showcases the range on offer.

Jo says "Our Education Programme is not linked to fundraising in any way; we simply want to help young people to learn more about being safe around dogs, caring for canine companions and encourage them to be responsible dog owners in the future. I have visited many Kent Schools over
the past five years that I’ve been in the role but am keen to ensure no pupils miss out on this great opportunity so if your school has not yet had a visit from me (or if you’d like another visit) do get in touch!"
