From Mitigation to Success: Improving Outcomes for Disadvantaged and Vulnerable Learners

This Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) course aims to support schools to ‘drill down’ further into the specific issues they are facing with regards to tackling disadvantage and guides them to adapt their approaches accordingly. The programme includes tailored support for schools around their own use of Pupil Premium and will support the implementation of evidence-informed processes, practice and programmes as part of your Pupil Premium strategy. It also aligns with the DfE’s requirement for strategy documents to reference research evidence. It will be delivered in partnership with Kent’s Associate Research School, Kingsnorth and there are still some places available. The EEFective Kent Project (EKP) is funding three different Evidence-Based Training courses this academic year. Effective Learning Behaviours and Effective Professional Development have both now started. However, From Mitigation to Success: Improving Outcomes for Disadvantaged and Vulnerable Learners, is still available to book and is starting Wednesday 8 March 2023.
