Funding available to share your Global Learning

Does your school encourage pupils to be inspired by the world and be active, Global Citizens?

The government funded Global Learning Programme for England is looking for schools who have excellent practice in encouraging active Global Citizens.

This is the last opportunity to access government funding to become an Expert Centre and co-ordinate a network of teachers in order to share learning and expertise more widely.

These Expert Centre schools will need to nominate a teacher to take on the co-ordinating role and training will be provided by the Institute of Education in January.

In order to apply to become an Expert Centre, please follow this process or contact Kent Advisor, Ruth England to discuss the opportunity in more detail: ruth.england@pearson.com

The Global Learning Programme (GLP) will create a national network of like-minded schools, committed to equipping their pupils to succeed in a globalised world by helping their teachers to deliver effective teaching and learning about development and global issues at Key Stages 2 and 3.
