Greener Kent Schools survey

Thank you to everyone who has already completed the Greener Kent Schools form online, if you haven’t had the opportunity, there is still time.

In 2022, the Department for Education launched their Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy to positively impact, influence and inspire communities within the education sector, focusing on environmental sustainability and enhancing children's knowledge and understanding.

The strategy states 'by 2025, all education settings will have nominated a sustainability lead and put in place a climate action plan'.

With Greener Kent Schools, Kent County Council are supporting all Kent education settings to engage with this strategy and take action to work towards a Greener Kent. Over the academic year 2024/25, we will be sharing lots of climate action ideas, Kent-based case studies, networking and funding opportunities.

It would be really appreciated if you could take five minutes to complete the Greener Kent Schools survey and let us know what you are already doing and which opportunities you would be interested in.
