Is the new Our Healthy Year wallchart on your classroom wall yet?
The Reception and Year 6 wallcharts and online resources are designed to build healthy habits in children during the school years in which they are weighed and measured as part of the National Child Measurement Programme.
The activities will help your teachers run a whole year of fun, healthy, curriculum-linked activities for Reception and Year 6 pupils, and the whole school.
If you haven’t received our new wallcharts already, order or download the interactive versions on the School Zone now. As part of the Our Healthy Year programme, most state Primary schools across England will have received the wallcharts with the School Fruit and Veg scheme. Get inspiration from our teacher toolkits
Our Reception and Year 6 toolkits include flexible, fun ideas to build healthy activity into your everyday class routines. The activities can be adapted for a range of abilities and settings; and help pupils understand how to keep themselves healthy after they've been weighed and measured.
New take-home packs arriving in schools in January
Look out for our new take-home packs arriving in your school from mid-January by courier delivery. The packs, which will be given to every pupil, are bursting with lots of fun activities to encourage families to make healthier choices together.
