Health and Safety

The KCC Health and Safety Team have developed a swimming pool management standard which outlines the key legislation, responsibilities and safe systems of work to help minimise the risks to employees and pool users without unduly restricting enjoyable and beneficial pool activities.  This standard is complemented with model procedures, forms, and a swimming pool risk assessment template which can be adapted and made specific to each KCC school or service pool.
