Launched on 1 September 2018, The Education People has been established to provide education services and products to and on behalf of Kent County Council.

The Education People are now responsible for the delivery of the following education services previously provided directly by Kent County Council, along with all associated marketing, sales and billing activity:

• Early Years and Childcare
• Education Safeguarding
• Governor Services
• Inclusion Support Service
• Outdoor Learning
• Primary School Improvement
• Professional Development and CPD Online
• Schools Financial Service
• Secondary School Improvement
• Skills and Employability
• Specialist Employment.

We support the full age range from Early Years to young adults, with over 800 products available to help you improve learning, nurture wellbeing and provide for children’s development.

The company is wholly owned by Kent County Council and follows a stakeholder model of governance, with representation from the Kent Association of Headteachers and the Early Years and Childcare Providers Association on its board.
