Kent and Medway Primary PE Conference 2017

The Kent Sport and Physical Activity Service would love to invite all Primary school PE leads to its annual conference.

Building on last year’s success, Kent Sport would once again like to invite all Primary schools throughout Kent and Medway to its annual Primary PE conference. This year there will be presentations on:

  • ‘Evidencing the impact of the Primary Sport Premium Funding’
  • ‘What Ofsted look for during inspections and how the Sugar Levy may change this’
  • ‘How to measure appropriately without levels’, as well as so much more.

Kent Sport is delighted to have Sue Wilkinson (afPE) and John Mitchenson (OFSTED) on board to discuss these key issues with you as well as a number of other experts within the industry. It is also a huge to honour to have John Taylor (former Wales international, Lions player and BBC commentator) host this year’s conference.

Kent Sport is also delighted to have GB track star and multiple gold medallist Joanna Rowsell Shand (MBE) appear via a Q&A session with John Taylor to discuss the influences on her as a Primary school child and also how she managed to overcome a loss in confidence from her alopecia to become the current Olympic champion she is today. This truly is a great, inspirational story you do not want to miss.

The conference will once again feature the popular marketplace, allowing you the opportunity to speak to different sports and suppliers as well as an extended lunch break to network with other schools to share best practice.

Please book early to ensure your place.
