One in ten young people living in the UK are thought to be a Young Carer - that’s approximately three Young Carers per classroom!
Kent Young Carers supports those aged 5 to 18 years who are proving care, support or supervision to any family member that may have; a long-term illness, physical or neurodevelopmental disability, suffering with poor mental health or substance misuse issue.

Free Young Carers Awareness Training which lasts approximately one hour and covers; definition, Young Carer rights, indicators, hard to reach and hidden groups, how to refer to Imago and more is also available, with more dates being added soon.
