KentChoices consultation

The KentChoices consultation for schools on the future development of the online area prospectus and application system will be run at two venues across Kent on Wednesday 18 January and are appropriate for careers teachers, heads of sixth and their administrators.

The purpose of the consultation is to get feedback from schools on how the post 16 online prospectus and application system can be improved. The Director of the software provider will facilitate the sessions, so that he can directly gather information and answer questions.

The session will be broken down into two sections,

  • The learner experience and tracking year 11 activity aimed at careers teachers and those members of staff who support post 16 transition
  • Keeping KentChoices up to date and managing applications aimed at sixth form managers and admin support.

Attendees will be welcome to attend both sections or just the one relevant to them. The consultation will be run twice on the same day, at different locations in Kent to make it accessible for all schools.

  • The Linwood Centre in Deal (CT14 9UU) from 9:15am to 11:4am. Parking available in neighbouring swimming pool car park. Attendees must display a free parking ticket available from the ticket machine.
  • The Kings Hill Community Centre (ME19 4LG) from 2pm to 4:30pm. Parking available on site.
