Knole's New Outreach Programme

Knole's Learning Team are pleased to offer a new programme of outreach sessions and loan boxes for use in your classroom. Objects help to create an immersive learning experience and, through facilitated sessions, Knole can help to create an engaging atmosphere to learn.

Our Primary School Sessions include:

• Stone Age to Bronze Age
• Power and Monarchy: Tudors to Victorians
• First World War
• Second World War

Our Secondary School Sessions include:

• First World War - The British sector of the Western Front
• Second World War
• Elizabethan Era

Duration: Our sessions last approximately half a day with a break in the middle. You may wish to book one session in the morning and one in the afternoon, for example, if there are two classes in the same year.

Cost: An outreach visit will cost £4.50 per pupil, plus mileage at 0.33p per mile. The sessions are designed for one class group at a time, to allow for interaction.

Alternatively you can hire one of our loan boxes to use in your classroom. Choose from one of these topics:

• Stone Age to Iron Age
• Power of Monarchy - Tudors to Victorians
• First World War
• Second World War

Hire of the loan box costs £60 for two weeks and must be collected and returned to Knole.
