Kooth - back to school and college resources for young people and professionals

As the start of the new academic year approaches, many children and young people will be experiencing anxiety about returning to school and college after the holidays.

As the start of the new academic year approaches, many children and young people will be experiencing anxiety about returning to school and college after the holidays - whether it's Year 7 students starting a new school, Year 12 students starting life in the sixth form, Year 11 or 13 worried about their final exam year or young people who generally find life at school or college quite daunting.

Managing back to school or college anxiety brochure

Stress and anxiety are in the top three presenting issues on Kooth, so with this in mind, Kooth PLC have created a managing back to school or college anxiety brochure to support young people as they return, which is attached to this email. Along with some tips, it outlines how Kooth.com can support them by:

  • Chatting with a member of our team (live chat or messaging, which is all text based)
  • Goal setting and journaling
  • Mini activity hub
  • Community support (discussion boards and live forums, which are all moderated)
  • Helpful articles (from the Kooth team and our community, which are all moderated).
