Kooth: Managing Exam Stress and Other Resources
18 April 2023
April is Stress Awareness Month and as part of this, Kooth are running a 'you don't have to face it alone' campaign.
Part 1 of our "You don't have to face it alone" campaign is centred around managing exam stress and will take place between the Monday 24 and 30 April, and is the first half of a two-week campaign leading up to Mental Health Awareness Week (15 to 21 May).
End of year exams can be particularly stressful for GCSE and A-Level students, but when compounded with factors like financial pressures and home difficulties, exam stress can feel particularly difficult to manage. We'll have lots of new content, peer to peer discussions and much more going up on the Kooth website throughout the week and our campaign is aiming to reassure young people that the stress they might be feeling is completely normal and that they don’t have to face it alone.
Kooth are running live streamed stress and anxiety sessions for Years 7 to 9, as well as managing exam stress sessions for Years 10 to 13.
