KSCB Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training

In partnership with West Kent Minds, KSCB are offering ‘Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention’ workshops at no cost.

Free half-day workshops at locations across Kent and Medway, funded by Kent County Council.

Suicide is a difficult and often taboo subject. However we can all learn how to listen to and help a young person who is having suicidal thoughts.

Key outcomes for the workshop:

  • Increased awareness of suicide prevention in children and young people
  • Increased confidence to reduce suicide risk
  • Increased awareness of support services.

To be eligible you must work with children and young people in one of the following:

  • Public sector health, social care, community safety and other roles
  • Private sector businesses
  • Third sector organisations and charities.
