Parents in Sport Week 2021

This national awareness raising campaign run by the NSPCC aims to highlight and support the important role parents play in keeping children safe in sport.

This year's campaign (4 to 10 October 2021) focuses on giving parents the information and tools they need to be part of a safe sport culture. Several new resources have been developed this year for parents to help them gain knowledge and skills to keep their child safe in sport.

These include a new animation for parents on what abuse might look like in sport and how to get help; a short, interactive e-learning course for parents on how to keep children safe; a new look parents' hub on the Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) website, which parents can use as a one-stop-shop for safeguarding information.

These tools will be launched throughout Parents in Sport Week across the CPSU and NSPCC websites and social media using #ParentsinSportWeek.
