Pay it Forward
11 December 2017
£250 - £1000 grants available for young people aged 10-16 in Kent to help others' emotional wellbeing.
HeadStart Kent would like to invite you to share a funding opportunity with any 10-16 year olds in your community setting or who you work or volunteer with.
Pay it Forward is run by HeadStart Kent, who are funded by the Big Lottery Fund to support young people's emotional wellbeing and resilience. After a successful first round of applications, HeadStart Kent would like to give more groups of young people the opportunity to carry out a project with a grant of up to £1000 in order to help others. The project should aim to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of others in their community, (e.g. residential, club, school, community organisation) and should be led by the young people themselves, although some assistance from a trusted adult may be given in the grant application and planning of the project.
Any groups of 10-16 year olds in any district across the county (except Medway) may apply. Applications should be made by Monday 5 February by completing the online form
Please see the Frequently Asked Questions (PDF, 200.9 KB), which should give further guidance on this opportunity but if you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to get in touch directly.
