Preventing slips, trips and falls guidance

We have produced new guidance about managing and preventing slips,trips and falls in the workplace.

A large proportion of major workplace injuries nationally are the result of slip, trip or fall incidents. Currently in KCC this is our second highest incident category for employees and the highest category for third parties.

Often slip, trip or fall incidents will result in serious injuries. It is most important that we identify and reduce the risk of this type of incident occurring.

To assist managers and employees with this, KCC has now produced guidance about how to manage the risk of slip, trip or fall incidents and what measures can be taken by both managers and employees.
