Revised Privacy Notice Template

A minor change has been made to the Privacy Notice template which requires the school to share telephone contact details with KCC to assist us in our statutory duty to track the destinations of young people.

The Data Protection Act states that unless a relevant exemption applies, personal data will be processed fairly only if certain information is given to the individual or individuals concerned.

In general terms, a privacy notice should state:

• your identity i.e. Name of School
• the purpose or purposes for which you intend to process the information; and
• any extra information you need to give individuals in the circumstances to enable you to process the information fairly i.e. who you might share the information with.
