Schools' Funding Forum elections

The Schools’ Funding Forum (SFF) has a number of membership vacancies which will need to be filled prior to the next SFF meeting on the 8th July 2016.

The number of vacancies for each group represented on the forum is detailed below:

  • Academies and Free Schools - 4 vacancies
  • Local Authority Primary - 2 vacancies
  • Local Authority Secondary (nonselective) - 1 vacancy
  • Local Authority Secondary (selective) - 1 vacancy
  • Local Authority Special School - 1 vacancy.

All schools from each group will be contacted shortly by email and staff will have the opportunity to submit their nomination to stand as a representative for their group on the SFF.

Full details of the process and role will be detailed in the communication sent to schools.

Key dates:

9th May - 20th May
Schools contacted and applicants invited to submit their nomination to represent their group on the SFF.

23rd May - 3rd June
Nominee applications processed.

  • Successful nominations confirmed where the number of candidates matches the number of vacancies
  • Preparations made for holding an election where there are more candidates than vacancies.

6th June - 17th June
Election details hosted on KELSI and election held.

20th June - 24th June
Election results collated and successful candidates announced to all schools.

8th July
Schools Funding Forum meeting held with attendance of new members
