STLS Redesign Consultation

Following an extensive period of engagement activities via surveys, workshops and focus group discussions, Kent County Council has collated and analysed feedback from a broad range of stakeholders, including parents and carers, mainstream Early Years Settings and schools and other practitioners across health, care and education.

The breadth of views and suggestions we have received has informed the development of proposals for the future delivery of the Specialist Teaching and Learning Service (STLS). We are putting these proposals out for public consultation from 3 November to 7 December 2021.

The outcome of the consultation and recommendations for the future delivery of the Specialist Teaching and Learning Service will be presented to the CYPE Cabinet Committee in January 2022 for consideration and endorsement. If approved, the new model of STLS delivery will be fully implemented from September 2022.
