Tax Credit Renewal Reminder

With the support of Kent schools, we are reaching out to those working with families in Kent to remind them to renew their Child Tax Credit claim. Please can this message be cascaded to reach as many families as possible.

Have you renewed your tax credits yet?

Each summer hundreds of Kent families find themselves in crisis because they have missed the deadline to renew their Child Tax Credits. Missing these payments cause real hardship as it can take weeks for a new claim to be processed, and it is likely that any payments received since April will be re-called and have to be paid back.

Renewal packs from the tax office are currently being sent out now and claims must be renewed by 31st July 2016 at the latest to avoid payments ending.
