The Big Mental Health Conversation video

The Big Mental Health Conversation gave young people an opportunity to share their experiences of mental health support in the county.

Please find below a video which was developed following the Big Mental Health Conversation, an event which was held in October.

The event was organised in collaboration with Kent Youth County Council, the KCC Participation Team and Kent and Medway ICB. Young People had voiced the need for better understanding of how to support their own mental health, those of their friends, as well as the opportunity to influence and lead positive change in mental health services within Kent.

The event was extremely well attended, with 143 young people from 14 schools across Kent and also 21 providers who also took part to share the support available from mental health services and to listen to young people. The day included speakers, interactive marketplaces and table discussions. The event has received fantastic feedback and we wanted to share the video below which showcases the day.
