The Rosewood School

This is after a consultation with pupils where they shared that they felt the name Kent Health Needs has connotations surrounding their wellbeing. They felt uncomfortable telling their friends that they attend a health needs school and also felt that the name could disadvantage them post 16 when preparing applications for employment or further education.

Therefore after many entries to create a new name we are excited to let you all know that a pupil from Canterbury came up with the new school name - The Rosewood School.

Along with new colour schemes we have the new Rosewood School website. You will find a new section on the referrals process that should be a lot easier to use as well as regularly updated blogs and social media content that you can access from the site. Once pupils are in their new uniforms the website will be updated with images, but in the meantime we hope you like the new name and website and we look forward to working with you and your pupils in the future.
