The Wild World Heroes are back for the Winter Mini Reading Challenge

This year’s Winter Mini Reading Challenge runs from 1 December 2021 until 16 January 2022 - it’s free to take part and collect rewards.

The Winter Mini Reading Challenge encourages children to keep reading through the winter months by rewarding them for rating and reviewing three books at the Winter Mini Reading Challenge website. This time, the Wild World Heroes are back for an Arctic adventure and are inviting families to join them on their exploration of this new, exciting and chilly world.

The Winter Mini Reading Challenge runs between 1 December 2021 and 16 January 2022. To take part, children simply choose three books to read (and libraries have lots of free books to choose from!). Then log on to Winter Reading Challenge website where children can add each book to their website profile, with the option to leave a short book review. Reading, rating and reviewing three (or more) books online over these six weeks will unlock a virtual badge and a special completer’s certificate to print off and keep.

This year, you can find more information, recommended books and a whole host of activities on Kent Libraries dedicated Winter Mini Reading Challenge page

Once you’ve read your three books, don’t forget to keep reading with Kent Libraries - there’s a whole world of free books to borrow!
