The World's Little Sleep Out

The World’s Little Sleep Out initiative is an important part of The World’s Big Sleep Out campaign.

The World’s Little Sleep Out initiative is an important part of The World’s Big Sleep Out campaign, in which we aim to raise $50,000,000 globally to call an end to homelessness. We are supported by Dame Helen Mirren and Will Smith on the week of 7 December 2019 and would like schools to host their own sleep out in line with our campaign.

Last year, our partners at Social Bite raised £110,000 with The Wee Sleep Out across fifty schools in Scotland to tackle homelessness. This year, we are expanding on their initiative for young people to be heard, to create real political and social change.

The World’s Little Sleep Out have partnered with Virgin Money as part of the ‘Make £5 Grow’ initiative, so any child that takes part in a school sleep out will be given £5 to kick-off their fundraising. This money will be donated directly to a school’s fundraising page upon sign up. Virgin have co-branded certificates for all pupils taking part. We are also announcing our partnership with a well known children's author, who is to release a video for all schools taking part, next week. Registration is free and there is no minimum fundraising target. As a one-off event, you will receive all of the resources upon registration.
