What changes will happen to the Public Contracts Regulations now we are in the process of leaving the EU?

EU public procurement laws are already implemented in UK legislation those rules will continue to apply until such time as they are repealed or amended, these take the form of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. We believe it is unlikely that the priority of the Government in negotiations will be to amend the PCR 2015 and it may even continue as part of the agreement to trade with the EU, so no change is likely in the near future.

From KCC’s point of view, the PCR 2015 remains and is an English Law which must be complied with, Spending the Councils Money supports this and will also remain as is.

If there are any changes in the future SFS will send further updates.
