Why do we sleep?

New resource for Year 6, KS3 and KS4 from Public Health England.

Did you know that sleep helps to improve mood, mental health and memory?

You can now bring this important message into the classroom with our new, free Rise Above for Schools Sleep resource.

Students can explore the physical and mental benefits of sleep through a variety of fun, informative exercises including action-plan worksheets, group activities and videos co-created by young people.

This lesson plan is available for KS3, KS4 and Year 6 students. Head to the School Zone to download the resource now and explore our other fun, flexible, ready-to-use lessons.

The launch of Every Mind Matters

It’s well known that teachers have an extremely busy schedule - and it’s important that you take the time to make your wellbeing a priority.

Every Mind Matters, our new mental health campaign, offers a free, NHS approved self-care tool that provides simple steps that we can all take to care for our mental health; helping to deal with stress and anxiety, boost mood, improve sleep quality and take control of our wellbeing.

Whilst you care for children at school, why not use Every Mind Matters to create your own self-care action plan today?

Win a wellness workshop for your school
