The Spirit of Try Angle Awards

These awards were introduced in 1994 to raise the profile of people aged 11-18 or who are special needs aged up to 25 in the community who really try.

During an amazing afternoon of awards and entertainment on Sunday 27 January, Archie Mitchell was announced as ‘The Spirit of Try Angle’ at the 24th Try Angle Awards. An outstanding volunteer and fundraiser for many good causes, he has brought life-saving equipment and training to his whole community and much more, despite huge challenges he has faced in life.

A story of community action, positive intervention, personal development and amazing courage, an inspirational role model to us all.

Nominations for Try Angle Awards 2019 are now open. Go to the Try Angle website for more information.
