Schools Financial Services offer a wide range of training solutions to meet your financial management needs.
Regular group training courses are offered in training centres across Kent.
Bespoke training can be tailored to provide expert knowledge and guidance on a 1:1 or small group basis and delivered at your school.
Training courses are offered to finance staff, headteachers and governors and cover skills areas such as budget setting and monitoring; strategic financial management, financial controls, senior leaders and more.
Our suite of e-learning programmes is now available on CPD Online

Finance information groups
Schools Financial Services host finance update meetings for Kent maintained school bursars and finance staff at venues across the county. These are delivered by Schools Financial Services on behalf of Kent County Council to ensure that schools are aware of their financial responsibilities as well as providing all the latest updates and information needed.
Course booking
CPD Online is the system used for booking all of our training courses.

A minimum number of delegates are required for Schools Financial Services to run courses.
Terms and conditions
Course places are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis and can only be booked on CPD Online. Please identify any special dietary requirements or needs. You will receive email confirmation of your course place once you have booked.
We reserve the right to cancel courses if they do not meet our minimum number of delegates. Individuals who fail to notify Schools Financial Services of a cancellation 14 working days before the course date, or do not attend a course they are booked on, will incur a cancellation charge. This charge will be £100 for a full day and £50 for a half day.
