Management Information Team
The Education, Early Years and Wider Early Help Management Information team sit within the Children, Young People and Education directorate of Kent County Council. We collect and process attainment data for both primary and secondary phases and produce analyses for schools such as Making Figures Speak for Themselves.
We also collect and process the School Census (3 times a year), with analyses produced on a range of data items contained within the Census. We are also responsible for the collection and processing of the School Workforce Census, the Alternative Provision Census, the SEN2 return and the School Capacity Survey (SCAP).
Other aspects of our work are the collection, processing and analysing of NCCIS returns, NEETs, Early Years, Wider Early Help and Youth Justice data.
Management Information provide systems training, support and guidance for staff in various CYPE business systems, along with support and training for schools and governors.
We also deal with ad hoc and Freedom of Information requests, forecasting and provision planning, GIS and production of school and pupil dot maps.
