Public Liability insurance
Schools covered by KCC arrangements have Public Liability insurance of £50m. You can download confirmation of the cover for 2025 here (PDF, 82.9 KB) and issue the document to anyone requesting evidence of cover.
Motor Vehicle Notification
Schools planning to purchase/hire a new vehicle which will require cover under their insurance arrangements with KCC should download and complete the Vehicle Notification Form (DOC, 52.0 KB) and email it to insurance@kent.gov.uk as soon as vehicle details are known. The premium payment section on page 2 can be ignored as any additional premium due will be collected under the monthly EduKent direct billing arrangement for schools.
