Area Boards (AB)

Area Boards (AB) are designed to ensure there is robust system wide governance and accountability for Outcomes for Children and financial sustainability. Each board will report into the newly reformed Kent SEND Partnership Board and Schools Funding Forum. Membership of the board is being developed and it is anticipated that boards will begin operations in the academic year 2025/2026.
